What to Expect During Your First Visit
Patients should expect to meet with multiple members of our dedicated team including Medical Assistants, Physician Assistants, Certified Oncology nurses, and Board Certified Oncology Physicians. Expect the first visit to run at least 2-3 hours due to interaction with multiple members of our team.
You will sign in for your appointment at the reception area, where a member of your care team will check you in for your appointment, complete applicable forms, and verify demographic and insurance information.
Our Medical Assistants will take your height, weight, blood pressure, and a blood draw. Once placed in an examination room, you may be assessed by several members of your care team. During this time, they will review your medical history, complete a physical examination, and discuss possible further testing or potential treatment options.
